Meditation & Mindfulness
Cultivating Conscious Centred Living
1. Meditation Matters
Meditation is scientifically proven to improve your overall health and well-being. There are countless benefits to creating and maintaining a meditation practice, here are 5 to know right now:
- Reduce stress and anxiety
- Experience greater happiness and wellbeing
- Increase your energy and vitality
- Be more self-aware and present
- Have greater focus and clarity
There are many types of meditation available to you, you can learn on your own via available apps such as Insight Timer or Omvana, or simply by following YouTube videos.
However, it’s important to understand that traditionally, Meditation was never a standalone technique, but a Spiritual Practice within the context of a Tradition (Buddhism, Yoga etc.) and the Teacher’s role was not only the technique to meditate, but also the life principles, ethics, philosophy and view of that particular tradition.
As Meditation is now widely accepted as beautiful way to release stress and calm your nervous system, it’s important that should you decide to work with a teacher or in a group, that you’ve researched their background, tradition (if any) and your motivation to learn from them.
Deciding If This Is Right For You
The pathway of a Meditation practice is one of discipline and devotion. Commonly, people decide to meditate but never devote to a daily practice, therefore the true benefits and understanding of it’s purpose can be ignored, lost or go unacknowledged.
Making Meditation a daily practice (not a habit) is much the same as going to the gym. You decide to create a change for yourself and you commit to the practice. When you ‘give up’ the practice, you notice that you ‘go back’ to the way you were. What motivates you to create the changes in the first place, should remain the motivation to change your life for the better and keep up the practice.
Meditation is a Lifestyle change. And, ANYONE can meditate.

Aware & Awake
Mindfulness involves being acutely aware of our thoughts, emotions, and why we do what we do. It means being aware in the moment and paying close attention to what is happening in the ‘here and now’, instead of focusing on our past memories or future predictions.
You will explore:
- Awareness of Others
- Make Peace with the Past
- Create a Vision for the Future
- Stay Grounded in the Present
- Create Life-Balance
- Emotional Mastery
- Uncover Passions & Purpose
Mindfulness is a beautiful practice to learn and will also help you to create a Meditation practice. Mindfulness and Meditation are NOT the same, Mindfulness is simply awareness, something you don’t have to practice for 20 minutes at a time. You can be mindful anywhere, anytime and with anyone you like.
Deciding If This Is Right For You
Mindfulness will help you to uncover, unravel and release why you do the things you do and how you’ve arrived in this moment. Becoming Mindful and living a Conscious Centred Life will help you to get grounded in your Passions, Purpose and why you are here.
You will become clear, confident in what you LIVE and LOVE daily, to ensure where you are going in the Future, feels congruent, aligned and where you want to go.
Whilst Mindfulness is a great way to relieve stress and everyday pressure, the real goal is to cultivate a sustained conscious wakefulness or presence. Mindfulness is a life discipline for raising awareness of ‘what is’.
Mindfulness is a life-enhancing practice that enables us to expand our conscious awareness and general presence. Mindful awareness allows us to become more sensitive to what is occurring in the present moment, both within ourselves and also in the outside world.
Mindfulness can be defined as intentionally bringing awareness to the present moment in a non-judgmental way. This skill is developed through engaging with systematic training in regular meditation practices, and also bringing mindful awareness and acceptance into daily life and work.
What You'll Learn
Mindfulness is based on meditation practices from ancient spiritual traditions, but is universal in nature. Contemporary training in mindfulness gives participants the opportunity to learn and apply these practices and principles in entirely secular ways.
For thousands of people all around the world, from all religions and nationalities, mindfulness practice helps people to nurture inner peace within themselves, improve concentration and general well-being.
Mindfulness is commonly held in high professional regard for its physical, mental and emotional health benefits. However, due to poor teaching and attached cultural stigma, this straightforward and useful practice is often avoided, resisted or even rejected in its entirety. As children, most of us are taught how to remember information and store knowledge in school. However, not all of us are taught how to strengthen our mind and resultantly manage our thinking (especially throughout much of Western culture).
The practice of training our mind expands our ability to detach from thought, emotion and body sensation enough to witness them. In turn, this allows us to better regulate our emotions, train our brains to focus more efficiently and teach our bodies to de-stress when we lose our focus.
Ironically, when we master mindfulness practice we often do find relief from anxiety or depression, cure health problems alongside creating a far deeper sense of inner peace and disciplined concentration.
So while the aim of mindfulness is to train our conscious awareness to witness what is occurring in the now, the practice often results in improved balance and happiness in the context of our daily lives.
You will unlearn and relearn how to SEE the world differently, when you change what you see, the world changes.

3. HEART COHERENCE
Connecting Heart & Mind
Heart Coherence is a technique scientifically proven to help you reduce stress and anxiety by increasing your inner balance and self-security.
Learn to access your heart’s intuition to become the best version of yourself more often.
The HeartMath Institute has discovered that our heart rhythm patterns are the best reflection of our inner state. By adding heart, you can shift in the moment into a state of balance and renewing feelings, such as appreciation, care, love and compassion.
Most of us have been taught in school that the heart is constantly responding to “orders” sent by the brain in the form of neural signals. However, it is not as commonly known that the heart actually sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart! Moreover, these heart signals have a significant effect on brain function – influencing emotional processing as well as higher cognitive faculties such as attention, perception, memory, and problem-solving. In other words, not only does the heart respond to the brain, but the brain continuously responds to the heart.
Adding a Heart Coherence Practice
“Your intuitive heart is the shortest and most effective route between intention and its destination.”
The simplicity of Heart Coherence means that the practice can be done just about anytime, anywhere, by anyone. You will move into a a heart connected state that opens the door for receptivity and transformation.
Connect and align your team at the start of meetings, during projects and throughout the day to improve cooperation, communication and performance.
Increase authentic communication and a sense of heart-bonding and build a more loving & nurturing environment.
